The Big 3 at NAFA’s I&E: The OEM Panel Returns to the Main Stage

NAFA Fleet Management Association, the vehicle fleet industry’s largest trade association, announces the return of the well-received OEM Panel presentation at NAFA’s 2020 Institute and Expo, April 6-8, Indianapolis, Indiana.

There is no automotive fleet without vehicles, and there aren’t vehicles without the OEMs. Back by popular demand, the heads of the fleet divisions from Fiat Chrysler, Ford, and GM will discuss what’s coming for the automotive industry and how these fundamental and evolutionary changes will impact fleets and drivers.

This presentation, taking place on Wednesday morning, April 8, will feature Frank Dankovich, Director of Fleet Sales at Chrysler Group; Edward Peper, Jr., U.S. Vice-President at General Motors Fleet; and John Ruppert, General Manager – Commercial Vehicle Sales & Marketing at Ford Motor Company.

This panel discussion will cover a wide range of forward-thinking topics including:

  • Electrification (and other alt fuel options) and fleet viability
  • Connectivity and telematics—between cars, infrastructure, and everything else
  • Autonomous vehicles—uses and options
  • Future vehicle types and product mix—what does the data support?

“The fleet and automotive industries are hand-in-hand when it comes to the mobility evolution,” said NAFA’s Interim CEO Bill Schankel, CAE. “NAFA’s annual conference, Institute & Expo, literally puts attendees in the front row of the conversation between fleet and automakers. This event is a ‘must’ for attendees who want to be ahead of the curve.”
